We anticipated the arrival

of this precious baby boy

Never thinking we'd be crying

with sadness, not with joy

He will live forever in our hearts

though they are filled with pain

Hunter Webb was taken from us

but our loss has become God's gain

We gather here in sadness

we're here to say goodbye

Life on earth was not for him

we'll always wonder why

who didn`t make it there.

I went straight to be with Jesus,

but I`m waiting for you here.

Many dwelling here where I live,

waited years to enter in,

struggled through a world of sorrow,

a world married with pain and sin.

Thank you for the life you gave me,

it was brief but don`t complain.

I have all Heaven's Glory,

suffered none of earth's great pain.
